Montclair is a Residential Care Home established in 1988 and registered with CQC for 15 individuals, usually over 65, with dementia or mental illness. The building is an attractive Tudor style house with accommodation on two floors. We are located in Banstead Road, Banstead, although we come under The London Borough of Sutton. The current proprietor has owned the home since February 2006. We cater to meet high needs as dementia progresses at no additional cost.

We offer 24 hour care meeting all identified needs. We promote independence and choice but will offer assistance when and where required. We have assisted baths and a level access shower.

Care Plans

Personal care plans are written to meet assessed needs and families are encouraged to be fully involved in the care process.

All rooms are single with hand basins and have a toilet and one of four bathrooms near by. Some rooms have an ensuite toilet.

Carefully selected and trained staff, which are committed to caring, are on duty 24 hours a day. We exceed the required CQC training requirements to achieve a minimum of 50% of staff being at level 2 in Care or equivalent.

Religious Services

All denominations have local facilities. Some of the local clergy visit regularly.

Visiting Times

Visiting times are not restricted. All we ask is, that if you visit at meal times, you respect the other service user's rights and sit out of the dining room so they do not feel they are being watched.

All diets are catered for. Meals include:
